I teach Strategy, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship to undergraduate and graduate students at FIU’s College of Business.
I came to the classroom after fifteen years of running businesses, and I teach the way I learned: through real-world experience. Instead of a litany of textbook facts, my students hear what it is really like to build a company, negotiate with major retailers, and lead through uncertainty — and then they apply it to their own ventures.
“I tell my students, ‘You don’t have to make a choice between making money and making a difference; you can do both.’”
