About

I am a Clinical Professor of Management at Florida International University’s College of Business in Miami, where I have taught since 2012. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and change management — in the classroom, in research, and in the field.

Before academia, I spent fourteen years building and leading businesses in Canada, including founding a consumer electronics company that grew from start-up to nearly $50 million (CAD) in revenue within five years. For more than two decades I have also volunteered as a strategy consultant to global development institutions, working with leaders across Afghanistan, India, Tajikistan, Kenya, the U.K., and beyond.
